A pet is a member of the family. And the staff at Kenosha Animal Hospital hopes to treat its clients' pets as if they were part of its own family.
The Kenosha Animal Hospital has been in operation for more than 70 years. Becky Carlisle, practice manager at the clinic, said the goal is to take care of the pets that come in and to reassure the owners who bring them in. "We want to provide the best possible medical care and have an open line of communication with the owners, so they are informed with what is going on with their pet," Carlisle said.
Carlisle said that communication includes discussing health care options with pet owners. "We hope they feel like they are part of the family and feel like we are treating their pet like one of our own," Carlisle said. "We want to go above and beyond in providing any services for the care of their pets."
The Kenosha Animal Hospital's range of services and treatments include ultrasounds, laser therapy and dental care. Carlisle said dogs and cats are by far the most frequent visitors to the clinic, but they also treat house birds and small mammals such as guinea pigs and hamsters.
